Interpretive Gardens is a landscape design/build company based along the Truckee River in Washoe County. We are located where the Sierra Nevada meets the Great Basin (USDA Zone 6b) and getting warmer and drier.

All of our projects reflect a philosophy of sustainability. Watershed restoration, rain water harvesting, bio-regional gardening, native plants, natural building, xeriscaping, permaculture design, and working with local materials are some examples of what our garden designs include.

We design, build, interpret and maintain gardens from Lake Tahoe to the Ruby Mountains and east. We are looking for experienced individuals that want to work in an ecologically conscientious landscape design/build firm.

Position available:

Landscape/Construction Crew: Valid Drivers License and prior landscape/construction/irrigation experience is required. Bi-lingual (Spanish) skills a plus. Compensation will be based on experience.
